Welcome to Novatoons. Our platform serves as a bridge connecting creators (sellers) with avid readers and enthusiasts (buyers). This policy offers clarity on refunds and cancellations, ensuring that both our buyers and sellers are well-informed.
Article 2 - General Policy :
Novatoons aims to strike a balance between buyer satisfaction and creator compensation. While sales are typically considered final, we recognize that there may be exceptional circumstances. This document elucidates those scenarios where refunds or cancellations might be considered.
Article 3 - Digital Products :
For Buyers:
Technical Issues:If buyers experience challenges accessing or downloading their purchased digital comics, books, or art, they should reach out to our support team within 7 days of the purchase. We will first seek to resolve the problem. If a solution isn't found, a refund will be processed.
For Sellers:
Refund requests from buyers will require collection of the full purchase costs made by the Buyer.
Article 4 - Physical Merchandise :
For Buyers:
Misprints/Damages/Defects:Buyers must report any issues with their received merchandise, such as damages or misprints, within 30 days of delivery. We will guide you through the remediation process.
Lost Packages:Claims for items lost in transit must be submitted within 30 days after the projected delivery date.
For Sellers:
It's crucial to provide accurate product descriptions and images. If a refund or return arises due to a discrepancy between the product description and the actual product, the seller may bear associated costs.
Article 5 - Donations:
Our platform celebrates the generosity of supporters. Donations made to comic, book, and art creators through Novatoons are final and non-refundable. Donors with queries or concerns regarding their contributions are encouraged to contact the respective creator directly.
Article 6 - NFTs (Future Implementation):
For Buyers:
Please be aware that due to the nature of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), they are typically non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Detailed policies specific to NFTs will be released once this feature becomes available on Novatoons.
For Sellers:
If you're considering selling NFTs in the future on our platform, ensure you stay updated with our NFT-specific guidelines and policies.
Article 7 - International Users:
For Buyers:
For those purchasing from outside of Canada and the US, currency exchange rates and transaction fees set by your financial institution may apply. Refunds for international transactions will consider the USD price of the product at the time of purchase. Exchange rate fluctuations or extra fees are outside the purview of Novatoons.
For Sellers:
In anticipation of serving a global audience, please provide precise product descriptions, shipping durations, and potential customs or import fees should be clearly mentioned if applicable.
